Everette Meade

Everette Meade, 88 of Deane, passed away Saturday, April 13, 2024, at the Pikeville Medical Center. Everette was the son of the late Clifton and Elsie Stewart Meade. He was the widower of Elsie Hall Meade. Everette was a member at the Deane Church of Christ. He enjoyed playing the banjo and the fiddle. Surviving is 2 sons: Eddie Wayne Meade and Kenneth Wayne Meade both of Deane; 3 daughters: Donna Jean Bolling of Deane, Jennifer Lynn Johnson of Spieght, Kentucky, and Sharon Johnson; 4 brothers: Coy Meade, Claude Meade, Denver Meade, and Gary Meade; 1 sister: Janet Baker; 7 grandchildren: Megan, Jason, Matt, Stephanie, Kendra, Gary and Brandon; 6 great grandchildren: Jordyn, Britney, McKenzie, Stephen, Megan and Daytona along with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Everette was preceded in death by 1 brother: James Meade; 3 sisters: Billie Jean Short, Mary Sexton, and Brenda Fields; 1 grandchild: Sabrina. Funeral 12:00 O'clock Noon Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Alfred Fields officiating. Visitation 6:00 P.M. - 10:00 P.M. Monday, April 15, 2024, and all day Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Green Acres Cemetery at Ermine, Kentucky.
